Pastor's Christmas Letter 2022

A Very Blessed & Merry Christmas 2022, Mosaic Family!

Christmas is a perfect time to review the goodness of the Lord!  From the incomparable gift of Immanuel, God with Us, to the myriad of ways God has personally given us so much of himself and life this past year, Christmas affords us all a special opportunity to say, “THANK YOU, GOD!”

While your pastoral staff thanks God for you every day of the year, we also wanted to take this opportunity to send you one final year-end Christmas greeting. We all feel so blessed to be a part of this unique spiritual family of Mosaic.  Each of us has been so richly encouraged by all the love, dedication, sacrifice, compassion and kindness we’ve both experienced from you and watched you share with others.  Thank you for faithfully following Jesus this year in your homes, our city and to the ends of the earth.

May we all experience God with Us this season in refreshing and life-giving ways.  Merry Christmas, our dear family!

Pastor Bob and Karri

As the year comes to an end, I only feel drawn even closer to our Lord.  He has led me and my family through the struggles of deep loss and personal health issues only to show us that He has and always will provide for each and every one of our needs.  God’s blessing of life has come again to my family with our second great-grandchild, Aemilia Elaine, born December 11th. 2022.  God has truly blessed my family with now a total of 25 grandchildren for the amazing purpose of showing us just how wonderfully precious His gift of life is.

As we head into the coming New Year, I see God still blessing so much of what we do on the corner of Third & Howard. This coming June 8th will be the start of year 10 for Changing Lives. I am nothing but thankful to God for the multitude of lives that have been changed and who have come through this ministry of Mosaic.  So many are serving in different capacities at Mosaic and throughout our community.

Through all of God’s provisions these last twelve months, my prayer for all of us is that we continue to press on with boldness, strength, and courage for the prize that awaits us when we stand face to face with our Lord and Savior, sweet Jesus the Christ, Emanuel.

Merry Christmas Everyone!

Pastor Andrew & Katie

I feel so grateful to be leading you all in worship of the King! I love that as a congregation we are hungry to experience the presence of God, no matter what that looks like (be it congregational prayers, contemporary Christian music, hymns, times of silence, etc.). Every week I am encouraged by your voices and when I see you praising God with your voice and body. Thank you and have a very Merry Christmas this year!

Pastor Jesse & Candice

Every year we look back and see what changes have taken place and how the decisions we made have impacted us and the lives around us.  Being in the downtown core has its own challenges.   In spite of that, we needed to knock down a wall and combine two rooms to accommodate the growing number of young kids in our toddler room.  We were able to do that because UNITE Family Services that previously used the space during the week was able to expand and purchase their own building in 2022.  At the same time, we welcomed another partnership in ministry with a Marshallese church that needed a place to worship. The number of different ministries that we work with together to further the Kingdom of God is exciting.  And we are looking forward to seeing what God has in store, not just for us, but also our building and its use next year.

My prayer for 2023 is that our body would be united in the gospel work we are committed to, and fellowship together so that we can encourage each other in our own spiritual walks.

Merry Christmas,

Jess & Family
