What SHOULD Matter in the Church?

Preacher: John Repsold

Series: Covid-19 Challenges

Keywords: truth, love, unity, primary, divison, secondary

Summary:

Satan loves it when God's people argue and bicker. It's amazing how Covid-19 is dividing the people of God. This message looks at what our primary calling is when it comes to dealing with differences between God's people about this and any other diverging views we may have. Unless we practice this, it really doesn't matter how right you or I may be about the secondary issues.

What Should Matter in the Church?

May 24, 2020

Welcome to Mosaic this morning. How do you like the new auditorium?  (Thanks to Bob, Jesse, Robert R., Eugene and a host of other people who gave a lot of time and love to this project.)  This isn’t our final lighting.  In fact, we have a lot of new lights on order and it will only get brighter from here.  But we’re grateful for the space and what we’re able to experience together today.

A few important INSTRUCTIONS

Covid-19 has changed life for all of us forever.  And until we are past the health-challenge part of COVID-19, we want to do all we can as lovers of people to love each other well.  That’s probably one of the reasons you decided to come today.  You love God and you love people. So here’s what we’re asking you to do today so that we can continue to respect what the authorities are recommending while continuing to BE the church gathered as God has called us to be.

  • Please remain in your seat/household group as much as possible.
  • If you need to get up and go out to use the bathroom or let kids move around a bit, please take the route that keeps you farthest from others.
  • We ask that you not congregate in the foyer before, during or after the service.
  • If you need to use the restrooms, they will be on a single-person/single-use basis, disinfected between each person’s So try to hold it instead of making 6 trips to the bathroom this morning!
