Christmas Encounters
Dear Mosaic Saints,
As we draw near to Christmas, my fervent prayer is that you will be drawing near to Christ. How blessed we are to be able to openly celebrate God's invasion of human experience in the most unexpected and humble of ways. May the Spirit of Christ continue to surprise us this Christmas with His humble and quiet invasion of our own lives.
Over the next 7 days, I hope that you will find God surprising you through not only your daily times with Him but the shared rhythm of events at Mosaic where we may meet together with Him.

- Wednesday night, December 20th: we'll be gathering for a Christmas Fellowship Dinner from 5:30-7:00 p.m. at Mosaic. Come anticipating touching Jesus through, yes, great food (prime rib, mashed potatoes & gravy, veggies and all the trimmings), great fellowship (with each other and God) and great fun (games, singing, laughing, caring). This is an RSVP event so please email Pastor Jesse before tomorrow morning if you want us to reserve a place for you at the table. We currently have about 20 spots still available.
- Weekend Worship: Sunday morning and afternoon we'll be looking at the Christmas Contrast of humility and pride. We'll see Sunday morning how that played out in the Nativity story among the human players while the Christmas Eve Candlelight service at 4:00 p.m. will focus on how God himself embraced humility in this historic event. I'm praying that both of these times will enable us all to experience God's rich blessings in humility this season.
