Tomorrow (Saturday, February 17th) is a day of cosmos and coffee at Mosaic.
Ladies, you start the day off with shared coffee and conversation at 9:00 a.m. Following that, there’s a women’s clothing swap. Since I’ve never been to one, feel free to ask Tina how that will happen if you have any questions. Email her at
. Where else can you get a new wardrobe and encouragement, all over a cup of coffee?
Place: Worship Center and upstairs
Everyone, if you’ve ever been intrigued by the vast wonder, beauty and size of our cosmos, then 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. is for you. Our own amateur astronomer, Dan Croskrey, has graciously offered to share with inquiring minds like ours some of what he has learned over recent decades about our amazing universe. Bring your best questions about the universe and Dan will bring his best answers. Together it promises to be an “enlightening” experience probing some of the wonders of God’s great creation. (I’ll see if we can bum some coffee off the ladies’ event.)
Place: Lower Level
With all the horrible and crazy events of this past week in our nation, I trust we are all looking regularly into God’s Word for truth, comfort, hope and direction. And I hope we are all drawing together more frequently and more fervently the more we find ourselves feeling out of step in this world.
Hebrews 10:24-25: And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
Have a weekend full of Jesus!
