Labor Day Weekend GIVEAWAY!

Yes, we really are giving away lots of things this weekend. 

For starters, how about a really nice, big DESK?  Seriously.  We’ve got an office desk we’re needing to move out of our newly refurbished office space.  If you’d like it, show up for worship and we’ll help you load it…or who knows, we might even deliver. 

Second, we’ll be “giving” sneak previews of the NEWLY REDONE children’s area/office.  Thanks to a cadre of hard workers this week, we’ve now got beautiful wood flooring in this area instead of ugly, old carpeting.  Special thanks to Patrick Grady, Tom Bates, and the Repsold “Man-Trio” (David, Andrew & Daniel, that is).  You’ve really got to see the change to believe it.

Third, we’ve got a large 4’ by 6’ WOODEN STORAGE BOX ON WHEELS (previously in the kids’ room) that needs a new home.  If it’s not adopted by Labor Day, you may see it on the evening news going over the Spokane River falls…or maybe just cruising 2^nd Avenue at midnight.  (That could be really interesting given the state of 2^nd Ave. right now.) 

Fourth Labor Day Give-Away:  “Free” sign-up for ALPHA course at both services.  Space is limited and there is only room for about 15 more people for the introductory dinner night.  If you’re not sure if you’re ready for a whole fall of delicious Sunday evening meals, great teaching and fun group interaction, just sign up before September 12^th and give it a try.  Alpha has the potential to change your whole fall…not to mention your life.  Oh, and Alpha will be the bulk of our Life Community group opportunities for this fall. 

The last, but definitely not least, “freebee” this weekend:  come encounter God with the rest of us on Sunday at 9 or 11AM at Second Space.  Yes, it is “free” for every one of us though it cost our God and Savior his life.  And, yes, you can actually cross 2^nd Ave. again so parking isn’t quite the pain it was last week…and parking is still “free” for you (though Diamond Parking has just started charging us monthly for using the lot—not that we’re complaining after 2 ½ free years of parking).  We’ll be wrapping up our study of Joshua for the summer with a unique change in the structure and format of the morning.  Come enjoy your heavenly Father with the rest of the family! 

Oh, and one more free thing:  Monday is Labor Day, so enjoy a day free of labor but full of fun.
