National Day of Prayer 2023

Posted by John Repsold on

Tomorrow is an important day in the life of our nation.  While millions will go about their lives as if nothing is different, those of us who know the Lord and the power of prayer will have an opportunity to change the course of our history.  All across this land, in cities and towns, people will gather to pray for God to move in power across this land.  Will you be one of those people?

Prayer begins at Mosaic at 6:30 a.m. with our regular Thursday morning prayer.  Then at noon at the North Shelter in Riverfront Park (near the children's Ice Age Flood Playground) public officials and private citizens will educate us about how to pray for everything from government to church, business to families.  Take your lunch break and come make a difference in the life of our city and country.

And if you're in the car during the 8:00-9:00 a.m. commute on Thursday, you might catch your pastor on the Scott & Dee show on 1280 AM as we tell stories of what God has done in times of crisis in response to the cries of His people in prayer.  May we be those people that others will point to one day as having changed history through our prayers.

For Christ and His Kingdom,

Pastor John
